2017 TIFF

Happy Friday ya’ll

Today’s post is all about fashion!

Fashion from Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). Founded in 1976, TIFF is considered the second most prestigious movie festival after Cannes. TIFF attracts anyone and everyone from the movie entertainment business. The festival presents the best of international and Canadian cinema to film lovers. According to tiff.net, “As a premier cultural institution TIFF offers screenings, lectures, discussions, festivals, workshops, industry support and the chance to meet filmmakers from Canada and around the world.”

The 2017 TIFF is currently in full swing, opened last Thursday, the 7th of September and will end on Sunday, the 17th.  As such, fashion is in full swing in Toronto.

Before I go into the fashion, big ups to Nollywood – the movie, The Royal Hibiscus Hotel by Ishaya Bako premiered this week under the Contemporary World Cinema programme section. The 90 minutes film stars contemporary actors – Zainab Balogun, Kenneth Okolie, Deyemi Okanlawon, O.C Ukeje and veteran actors – Jide Kosoko, Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva, and Rachel Oniga.

Now the fashion –

Some of my favorites include: Zainab Balogun (Imad Eduson); Carey Mulligan (Chanel); Margot Robbie (Erdem); Emma Roberts (Brandon Maxwell); Rachel Hilson (Unknown); Nicole Kidman (Oscar de la Renta); Octavia Spencer (Tadashi Shoji); Kate Winslet (Unkown): Jessica Chastain (Zuhair Murad); and Rachel McAdams (Elie Saab).
