The Magnificent Jesus

JESUS – what a sweet name to call on

The sweet names of Jesus I call on EVERYDAY

My Lord – I call this sweet name because he heads my life. He is LORD over me. My way of releasing myself (submitting) to this will.

Father/Daddy – I call him this name every morning. I look at the window, up to Heaven, and say “Good morning Dad/father”

My God – I resort to this name, when I am in over my head. When i just don’t know what else to say. Usually, it’s “My God, please hear my cry”

Jehovah Jireh (The Lord that provides/My Provider – Genesis 22:14)- I love this name because it reassures me that all my needs will be met. I tend to say, “My Jehovah Jireh, I thank you because i will lack nothing”

Jehovah Nissi (The Lord my banner/My Banner – Exodus 17:15)- My Banner – is special to me because he is carrying my name up and down…

Jehovah Raah/Rohi (The Lord that shepherds/My Shepherd – Psalm 23) – The great shepherd that watches over me. I call on this name everyday before stepping out the door or before my day really starts. Calling this name reassures me that my day will be FRUITFUL, BLESSED, and FAVORED.

Jehovah Shalom (The Lord is peace/My Peace – Judges 6:24) – I call this name because without peace, there’s turmoil.

Merciful King – This name is just BIG. I call for his mercy each day. I know he is the KING, as such, I need mercy from the ULTIMATE King.

Ever present Helper  (Psalms 46:1) – Always THERE. Not just there, but ALWAYS helping! – This name reminds me that i am not on my own.

What sweet names of the Most High do you call on each day?
