The point below ministered a lot to me today and I would like to share it with you all. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will open your spirit eyes and give understanding of the point to you in Jesus name. Amen.
Point: “The height you want to get to in life will determine the depth you must reach in God.” – Pastor E.A. Adeboye.
To achieve our life goals (personal, professional, academic), many of us we are willing to burn the midnight oil to any degree; we stay up to late to do what’s necessary (e.g., read that state board text book till we are so tired or feel satisfied) however, do we burn the midnight oil to read the word of God till we get understanding or feel satisfied in our spirit?
We all aspire to be great in our various fields, careers, business and build generational wealth. However, without the Lord, we labor in vain (Psalm 127:1) and without seeking the Lord intently and purposefully, all our achievements can fly away (Job 1:21).
Psalm 127:1 – “Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat– for he grants sleep to those he loves. Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him.”
Deuteronomy 8:18 – “And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
Job 1:21 – “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised”
May this point breathe understanding, enlightenment, and grace to do what God wants you unapologetically and boldly in Jesus name. Amen.
Love,
Ifesdomain
