I hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe!

I always take my petitions before God rather than man because I can’t control the heart of man. But in light of the atrocities that have occurred in the last few days, I want just want to remind us what Romans 12:17-19 says

¹⁷ Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. ¹⁸ If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. ¹⁹ Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

1 Peter 3:9 “Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.” (NIV)

Retaliating or responding with and in HATRED does not SOLVE anything! – If it did, things would have changed.

Rather than HATE, continue to LOVE

Rather than PROTEST violently, PRAY violently

God’s word is clear – Matthew 5:43-48

⁴³ “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ ⁴⁴ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, ⁴⁵ that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. ⁴⁶ If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? ⁴⁷ And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? ⁴⁸ Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Our HEAVENLY sees everyone and everything that is going on – TRUST me, we avenges the death of his creation!

Hebrews 4:13 – Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

However, please don’t incur God’s wrath by disobeying HIS WORD. There is no justification for disobeying God’s word.

Let’s pray that:

1. GOD will us and teach us to love one another
2. See beauty in one another and respect each other. After all, we are ONE COLOR and SAME in the sight of God – Genesis 1: 26-28

   ²⁶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

   ²⁷ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

   We can’t claim being genuine children of God and HATE or TREAT another person wickedly or inhumanely.

Spreading the news without PRAYING to GOD FOR HIS INTERVENTION and  GENUINE/CONSISTENT ACT OF NEIGHBORLY KINDNESS, does not change anything!

PRAYER CHANGES CIRCUMSTANCES and NOTHING (not even racism) IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO CHANGE. Luke 1:37 –  For with God nothing will be impossible.

Father, heal the hearts of everyone affected and teach us how to love, the way you love us in Jesus name. Amen!
