SONG OF MY DAY – MAY 4th

Happy Thursday All 🙂

Can you believe it’s already May 4th? I am happy it’s May 4th because I am alive, healthy, blessed, have joy and peace.

As I work on this post, my heart is heavy yet grateful. I am grateful for God’s LOVE over me; I am grateful for his mercies every moment; I am grateful for intact mind; I am grateful for the free breathe. Above all, I am grateful I have a friend named JESUS CHRIST to run to.

The words of assurance I am holding to are :

“Let your manner of living be without covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have. For He hath said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” – Hebrews 13:5

WHY THIS VERSE YOU WONDER? – It’s because I am a working progress that constantly wants more because others have more or because mine is not enough. However, I am reminded to be content with God, I am assured he won’t leave me or forsake me.

Father, I humbly say,

Even when my strength is lost
I’ll praise you
Even when I have no song
I’ll praise you
Even when it’s hard to find the words
Louder then I’ll sing your praise

I will only sing your praise
