First food memory? Bread, scrambled eggs and very lukewarm choc
What was your favorite breakfast cereal as a kid? Nasco Cornflakes
What is your most favorite cooking sound? Frying stew
What is your comfort food? Ice cream is bae and yes, it is food
Is there a food you will not eat? It’s not really food by itself but I hate olives. I will not even touch cassava fufu
Which ingredient(s) do you use the most? Nutmeg
Foods I adore? Garri and groundnut (epic!), Ice cream again, pounded yam (bae), plantain (bo boo), Fuji Apple Salad (after many Panera visits, I am hooked), Brown rice and Quinoa (the wholy grail), waffles to mention a few.
Foods I loathe? #1 Fufu. That’s all!…… Oh! Mac and cheese (please who even invented that meal), Gbegiri (Yoruba style), mixed soups (aka abula), and semolina
In the kitchen, what’s your most treasured possession? My blender
Tea or coffee? Tea (Never coffee)
Sweet or Savory? Savory
Favorite drinks? Apple drink
Favorite fruits? Strawberry, Banana, grapes and Bosc pears
Favorite veg? Kale
Favorite herbs? Fresh thyme (does that count)
What is your favorite dessert? Strawberry ice cream or cheese cake
Favorite TV chefs? Probably Gordon Ramsay, Chef Alex and Chef Fregz
Favorite foodie film? I don’t have one
What food are you craving right now? Rice and turkey stew (very strange)
Which food website/ or blog would you die without? Kitchen butterfly
What is your favorite food shopping experience? Sadly, its not food shopping.
What’s the dress code in the kitchen when you cook? Nothing special
What food is your guilty pleasure? No its not chocolate, its honey twist pretzels
What food would you prepare to impress someone? Giz-dodo and jollof rice
Have you ever changed how you feel towards a food? Yes, I wasn’t a food fan as a child but now…
